We may consciously deny we have a bias and say that we are "objective" but this is often a distortion of reality.
It takes a trained mind to eliminate all of our subconscious biases from affecting our perception to only focus on the message, not the sender.

What if somebody said that 2 of the 12 people pictured on the right knew something so profound that it would change your life
completely. Who would you (automatically) choose? A quick glance at each picture will bring up certain biases in our subconscious.
These biases are a result of the collective expierence of our entire lives - whether spent in front of a TV screen or in personal interactions. Subtle cues..
