In 1968, laboratory experiments at Temple Buell College, CO, measured the effects of music on plants by subjecting them to different tones. Exposure to heavy metal music made the plants tilt away from the speakers or die, whereas classical music lulled the plants to lean toward the speakers. But in the case of Hindu devotional music, the stems bent in excess of 60° to the vertical and towards the speakers, perhaps the closest anyone has ever come to recreating the right-angle bend found in the plant stems in genuine crop circles.

The high frequencies common to ultrasound are known to affect states of awareness in humans, and visitors to crop formations often report an inability to properly perform analytical or left brain functions. In fact, a number of Japanese scientists who’ve conducted monitored EEG tests inside crop circles show how there is a tendency for the intuitive or right brain to be far more active in people when they are within the space of a crop circle.

If sound and thought are just variable channels of the same thing (maybe at different frequencies), and our bodies are 80 odd% water, then what about the effects of mass thought (implemented by the media and TV) on the mass population.... or the frequencies given out by phone masts and tv stations etc...

Plasma has the ability to self organize into cells or what is called double layers and filaments, Irving Langmuir gave the name plasma to ionized gas because of it's resemblance to living blood plasma.

All bodies in space form a protective plasma sheath, also known as things like magnetosphere or heliosphere (in the case of the solar system); the same could be said for cellular structure.

The visible universe is estimated to be 99.999% plasma. Plasma is an excellent conductor of electricity, I'm convinced that the universe is electrical in nature and in many ways reflects the same electrical processes that take place in biology. I believe electromagnetism is the dominant force in the universe, not gravity. As I said electricity is the lifeblood of the universe, our senses translate information to electrical signals to our brain, there's enough electrical energy in the brain to power a light bulb, our heart also beats because of an electrical current, muscle contract because of it.

Similarly the universe is connected by vast electrical currents called Birkeland currents, they form into twin braided filaments that connect galaxies stars and planets, the energy is stepped down from huge galactic currents to currents that connect stars then on to planets and moons.

Quickly off topic: I suggest everyone here who entertains this theory, to read 'The Emerald tablets of Thoth'. Now before writing me off as nuts, I know it's written by Cayce, and despite whether you believe he had this channeled to him or not, it has some incredbily insightful ideas on our existence, creation and God and the universe, but it is written in such a way, that it can mean multiple things, depending on your current perception of reality. Conversely, sonic frequencies are known to create light. Laboratory experiments show that the high-intensity sound fields responsible for vapor cavitation are capable of emitting visible light (Barber and Putterman 1991; Berthelot 1988). This sound-to-light process is called sonoluminescence, and it is thought to be caused by the production of electrical discharges as water vapor is ionized. And the lower the operating frequency, the greater the effect (Barber and Putterman, 1991).

However, this may not be the only way to get light out of sound. Jonathan Goldman, sound therapist and pioneer in the field of harmonics, was visiting at the Palenque complex in Mexico when he was given access to a temple normally off limits to the public. Inside a pitch-dark chamber deep inside the temple, he was instructed by his guide to tone the chamber with his voice. As he did so, the chamber became noticeably lighter, to the point where coutlines of the other members of Goldman's group could be seen (Goldman 1992).

Certainly there exists a symbiotic relationship between sound and light. As noted earlier, the process of creation as represented by the tetractys requires the presence of both sound and light. In Egyptian cosmology, Atum Ra, the Sun god, is said to have created the Universe with a "cry of light". In Greek philosophy, logos, which means "word" and "sound", constitutes the controlling principle of the Universe as manifested by speech. according to paleolinguist Richard Fester, the owrds logos, loud, light and beginning are all derived from the primal root leg, and its mirror, regh. Therefore, "light", "sound" and "beginning" fundamentally occur at the same moment (Fester 1981).

Sound travels 40 octaves slower than visible light and it travels fastest through copper, the prime material carrier of electricity. The "slowing down" of light frequencies generates the colors of the visible spectrum, which in turn correspond to notes in the music scale. Therefore, sound can be construed to be the material carrier of light.
