800x600 screen resolution fix and other updates

Recent items added -

- Photo slideshow of Olympia, Greece and 2004 Olympics complex in Athens, take in 2006
* Slideshow can be found in Age of Light - Lucifer topic
* Especially timely given the recent fires in Greece

- Split up Fog of War section. Places section now has photos I took in 2006 from Lithuania Soviet Missile silo complex.

- Preliminary (Lucifer) WannaBes topic in Age of Light

- Lunch Box added

- Upgraded Inside / Outside (Used to be called Internal / External) and Human Animal pages.

- FAQ section updates. Added MOO-Vies section and added many photos and some more analysis. Added clipart to various other topics in this section. Making some progress on MyEvent Detail.

- Still working on the Body Chemistry section that is offline before uploading.

- Skeptics - Nonsense Test topic, more work done on Sports topic with 2006 photos from Italy. Still working on a better descriptive introduction to the test.

- Insanity - Global WARming, split out some of the information to form a PESTILENCE topic.
Added photos of coral reefs and Greenland.

- New icon based menu for War News section and split up of some of the theaters.

While I was creating this icon menu I started to think more about optimizing the site for a screen resolution other than 1024x768. After doing some more research, I think it is a good idea to make the site better for 800x600 users too. I will be tightening alot of the table boxes so less scrolling is required. A friend of me tells me to use something called CSS - Cascading style sheets. The problem is, I do not know how to make a website using this. It looks cool on the sites I have seen. He was fond of showing me his own site with CSS. But alas, he has not updated his site very much. Perhaps too much time spent on design. I do not have this luxury. I am up to my eyeballs with just gathering information, let alone processing it and posting it. And thinking about translating.

Random thoughts

The financial markets have calmed for the moment. The Detroit Tigers are still in the hunt for a WILD card berth in US Baseball, winning their division looks a bit remote now. Category 5 hurricanes are back in the Atlantic. Heat waves in US (Following Europe)...can someone say PESTILENCE. North Korea - apparently ĻpositiveĻnews, but offset by Iran announcement (Again?) of 3,000+ centrifuge goal. Loads of Princess DIAna news. And then their is all the other news you donīt hear about.....or that you do hear about but with inadequate analysis.

Isnīt their some kind of famine in SU-DAN? War, famine, death, pestilence....hmmm.....

Faith and Russiaīs resuming of nuclear bomber flights

It doesnīt take much effort now with these news stories to see that a certain trend is -- shall we say--- continuing.

I include the faith one, because if you got faith, you will never see it coming - a fitting end perhaps. Is there some message of a bunch of people dying in a church during an earthquake.
Iīll leave that to you.

Have not had a comment in a long time in this blog. But, I will continue. Took the Body Chemistry section offline yesterday. Making good headway on completely reorganizing it. It is quite a mess to cleanup. Every time I make significant progress on one area, another issue seems to crop up. So many things to explain, so many articles AND clipart to track down.

I look at some parts of the website like an early version of Microsoft Word. As in version 1.0 - which I used along time ago. Or -- even something older like on the Apple II+ - Bank Street Writer! A shadow of what modern word processors are today. I wonder how many people I told a year ago have revisited this site. I do not know. I have only checked visitor stats twice out of curiosity-- because I do not care. Once in late 2006. And a couple of weeks ago. Increasing number of monthly hits by unique visitors, but not clear on just how much of the website people are viewing when they do visit.

One topic I recently worked on, that only needs a little more work, is the Age of Light - Lucifer.
I clearly explain the meaning of Luciferīs name - Bringer of Light.

Shit Happens All at Once

I look out my window here, and everything seems so peaceful. In fact, it is peaceful. It is only when I turn on my television or surf the Internet that things seem a little different.

- Iraq, 400 - 500 dead by suicide bombers
400 Dead In Iraq War's Worst Attack - CBS News

Incidentally, the target was a sect of +/- 500,000 people who worship a peacock angel / God. Now, if you didnīt read my website, whose not to say that they are the truth? After all, they are BeLIEvers too! Yazidi - Wikipedia

- Peru earthquake 7.9
300+ dead and approaching 1000 injured. Large city (Pisco) leveled (70% per report).
I guess I wonīt be going to visit the Nazca lines in person anytime soon.

- Hurricane Dean forming, same time as Tropical Storm is hitting Texas, USA
(People seem to forget about Hurricanes after one relatively benign year)

- Super Typhoon Sepat approaching Taiwan

- and eCONomic fallout from the US Housing Fallout continues to affect markets worldwide
U.S. stocks set to tumble over credit worry - MSNBC
Off note, is that I have had plenty of articles about the current subprime fallout online since last year (Or 1Q this year - donīt remember.) It is a page off of the Signs - Middle Years. Just look for the piggy bank photo I just added.

- Missile defense concerns and Military buildup
Israel, U.S. in $30 bln military deal - MSNBC

- Oil is at $72-74 per barrel....a little below the high of $80. Threats are out there from Venezuela and Iran. As well as from Hurricanes.

- China Toy recall - hardening of feelings between US and China. Involving Mattel of USA.
You get what you deserve....when you are a fucking CONsumer!

So it isn't any one or two, or three of these stories in isolation, it is the fact, that they are all happening at the same time!

Or maybe they are all hoaxes like the earlier story I posted on fake buns in China. That story is a good snapshot of believing or thinking which I will explain later. Possibly as a dedicated page on the website.

But perhaps, for readers of this, the best indicator is the progress I have been making on this website. If one visited this website 1 year ago vs today, I think (But I do not know!) the impression would be very different.

Only a few sections need major work -- I am tackling the Body Chemistry section right now. Then I will revisit the Cosmic Clues. Those are the two major sections in my mind that need the most help.

I have also been working on the Language section more. I am waiting for volunteers! Added 3 icons on the upper right.

And if it all seems overwhelming --- you can always go to Memphis, Tennessee and praise (Oh, I mean worship) Elvis one more time. Tens of thousands of worshippers there. Shit...maybe Elvis was "God" in hindsight.

Just updating

Nothing too exciting at the moment. Just reorganizing, cleaning up the website. I ended up splitting up the NEVER BeLIEve section. Still working on individual parts. Of note is the WORD AXIS graphic I created --- I think it is very cool. But I ainīt proud of it! It is just cool and to the point.

I have uploaded Post-Apocalypse effects guide and External vs Internal files. The former is on a menu that is only available after you lose your pride. I will probably move it later to somewhere on the main website. The latter (E vs I) is a preliminary overview of what sections include mostly external sources versus my opinion.

Added some very good LiveScience links to neurology and psychology relating to how Mind / No Mind works (Naming Emotions). I have included these in the first few screens of Mind / No Mind.

Also split apart the "Pride parts" from the Middle Way section into two new main sections - About Pride and Religion & Pride. Also split up the Skeptics - Nonsense Test as it was getting too long.

Added a preliminary HELP section. Making good progress on the Languages & Translation section. I may yet end up doing a full Spanish translation myself. Helps me to learn Spanish too. Working on a full pattern analysis of the DE root -- just as I have already done for CON and NATION.

Interesting link that just appeared on Yahoo.

As for the Detroit Tigers -- as of August 7, 2007

The defending AL champions had lost five straight and 12 of 15 since they had baseball's best record on July 21. (From article of victory on August 7)

....their closest competitors have also managed to lose alot...so they arenīt too far behind in CONtention. Still have the 5th best record, and if the season ended now they would get to the playoffs via a wild card berth - barely squeaking by New York and Seattle.

Detroit Tigers on a roll again

Not making any predictions this year. But just a heads up...in the USA Major League Baseball,
the Detroit Tigers are among the league's best teams with a .602 percentage. Good enough for the 3rd best record. The leaders -- Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Angels are at .607.

Half the season is over now as the all-star break has been passed. I don't know how far they will go (or not go) this year...but isn't it interesting?

Nothing much to add. Just busy making updates. I did manage to load photos and choose the top videos to watch in the step-by-step section. I imagine, if one saw a majority of those videos it would be easy to agree with most of what I am saying. Mostly documentaries, but a few fiction movies too.

Two files I will add soon are: detailed description of post-nuclear war effects and a page showing what % of each section is actually "original" information from me, as opposed to external sources.

Ciao!

Latest China food scare: Bogus buns

http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/EB0A60C6-965E-477B-BB7C-07006982E62D.htm

Came across this interesting article this morning. This on top of China's recent execution of a top government official. And again I have to ask -- instead of trying to fix the problems afterward, when do people start questioning what in their CULTure leads people to do these things?

I guess almost never...if history is a guide. Not until it is too late, and even then..... People don't like to point the finger at themselves. I'm doing a lot of pointing, but, I don't have to wait for other people to join. So go ahead...protect your CULTure, or your CULT of another kind.

It is funny, many people BeLIEve in a heaven, but just how exactly do people expect it to be better, if they don't change? Maybe that is too deep of a question for a superficial world. Maybe "nobody" understands me. Not because they are not capable, but rather, too afraid.

After all, if people can understand Harry Potter, they can figure this out. Why do I say this? I read Lord of the Rings - all 4 books, as a Middle Schooler. That is not an easy read, lots of small type and special terminology. I tried not that long ago, to read the 1st book of Harry Potter (After having watched a few of the films) to see what the fuss was about. I could not get past the first 50 pages. It was just too much for me -- but apparently not for millions of other people.
Maybe I just wasn't motivated....maybe I was in the wrong mind-set, so focused I was on that time with non-fiction. So, I wonder, when will people get the right mindset (If ever) to learn about their CIRCUS, before the tent collapses.

Making headway on the website. Have already uploaded numerous minor improvements and clarifications, and reformatting efforts.

- Added more roots in the WORD FUN section. Updated table with other languages and patterns for the Word root CON. Very comprehensive now!
- Improving the page on the Nanjing Massacre - which is off the SIGNS section. Just watched an interesting video that was on YouTube about the massacre. Those are now linked.
- Added information and videos about Caral in the SIGNS - ARCHAELOGY section. Found a YouTube English clip of the BBC special - although it is only the first 10 minutes.
- Added detail to AGE OF LIGHT-MINORITY REPORT, including US Census statistical links showing that I really am a distinct MINORITY in the US. Although that is obvious.
- Added draft 7 YEARS section to BIBLE REVELATION
- Uploaded a draft of a LANGUAGES section. Still needs alot of work.

Updating - never BeLIEve -. It is so long - I may split it into multiple pages just for clarity.

I even have an idea to change the menu system. I worked on a sample format a while back, not sure if I will implement it. Maybe I will let people choose one or the other.

enough for now...

Lucifer - Bringer of Light

I just read a short blurb on Yahoo's main news article today on how possibly Bill Gates of Microsoft is being passed by a Mexican billionaire for world's richest man. The article talks about how Carlos Slim Helu is also big on philanthrophy.

Well...lets make it clear. Lucifer means BRINGER of LIGHT. But it does not mean, that Lucifer IS the LIGHT.

You want to "BE the LIGHT" BE BE BE BE BE BE BE BE BE BE BE BE ---- Human BEings!

After all...people can connive their way to riches, then seek to give it all away, appearing to be good,...but really they just want to be remembered more than others.

Perhaps you should come to the University of Washington in Seattle, you can see who many of the new buildings are named after -- in pride. But really....you can find that on campuses all over the world.

Cheers!

Worship = Cult

One of my poems states that when there is no more worshipping, there will be no more WARs or WAR-SHIPs. Well...I noticed an interesting word relationship in regards to the English word WORSHIP recently.

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=worship

Scroll to the bottom where it shows the equivalent words in different languages.

The NOUN form is very interesting:

French: CULTe
Italian: CULTo
Polish: KULT
Portuguese: CULTo
Romanian: CULT

For the VERB form:

Spanish: CULTo
Portuguese: CULTuar

I wonder how words went from one region of the world to another. I'm no professional linguist....maybe I need a good word etymology book.

Makes me wonder about the word CULTure we use everyday too. More on that in the future perhaps. Yes, our CULTure of CORE beLIEfs.

....I have my new computer notebook. I have almost finished configuring it with all the software I need, and have already started editing pages. I changed my email listed on the front page to something more informal sounding. Again, it is in graphic format to avoid SPAM. I'll be upgrading my network connection speed soon too, that should help.

Paris Hilton
------------

If you didn't catch the news story, North Korea test launched more short range missiles recently. But, it wouldn't be a surprise if you didn't read it, because it happened around the time of Paris Hilton's incarceration and release from jail. The Paris soap opera saga.

http://abc.net.au/news/stories/2007/06/28/1964089.htm?section=justin

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/6767243.stm

To be fair, the nuclear reactor closure story was also in the mix. Those these stories are separate issues altogether.

Now, I wouldn't mention Paris Hilton in this blog except...oddly enough....I saw the front page of the Bogota, Colombia -- El Tiempo newspaper the other day and near the top header was a two line blurb about Paris Hilton, directing people to read more inside. Now...why a Colombian newspaper would care about Paris Hilton...is a mystery to me, let alone put her on the front page. But then, so many things that are important, don't get mainstream coverage.

You can find some of these things in the OUR INSANITY section.

PS: Check out the nose of Paris Hilton...it is VERY POINTY. Pointier it is, the more pride -- which is no big surprise. You know that saying about people who -- thumb their nose up at you....don't you?

Almost back in business

I am finally back in Colombia. Happy to be finished with the travel of the most recent 6 to 7 weeks. Earlier, I mentioned some computer laptop troubles. I have been finally able to test the hard-drive, and it seems to work properly. No data loss, but I still need a new laptop, and now mobile phone too - my 6 year old phone crapped out in Brazil for no apparent reason. Working one moment, dead a few hours later.

I should have a new laptop (Alot faster!!) in a few days to a couple of weeks. Then I can get going on updating the site again. The laptop I was using was a 2001 IBM Thinkpad model.

I finished this most recent trip with a bang. I shared my story and website with travelers from Ireland, Turkey, England, Korean-Argentinian, and a group from Israel, as well as a couple of young women who worked at the hostel in Lima, Peru. It was also helpful because for a few of those people I was able to show them the website. I also managed to share the story with two Colombians, one who I just started talking to at the Bogota airport, another sitting next to me on a flight. The latter, I spoke mostly in Spanish. Now...just need someone to translate the website and create a Spanish version....and Portuguese and....

Travails of Travel
------------------

I didnīt get a chance to make it to the Nasca Lines or Caral (Mentioned in last post), but I did buy an excellent CD-ROM of the Nazca Lines, and English book and BBC Video of Caral (You can download an English language broadcast of - LOST PYRAMIDS OF CARAL from 2001 off BitTorrent. I have never used BitTorrent, but the more savvy may wish to look into this. I may do it, as my DVD is Spanish only) A couple more reasons to return to Peru. Iīve said it before, and Iīll say it again, Peru is a treasure trove of archaelogy and natural beauty. Fortunately, I live in a bordering NATION.

Will incorporate this research, after I finish reading and watching them.

Book of Revelation
------------------

On a random note, I had a chance to read through some parts of the Bible Book of Revelation in Spanish and it notes the color of the 4th Horse is AMARILLO / YELLOW. As opposed to PALE written in the English one (The version I checked anyway). So now, 3 colors are an exact match. And of course, the all important 4th COLOR (ME) is an exact match. The 2nd horse color, I read a word -- BERMEJO. Not sure what this means yet. Dictionary checks and asking Spanish speakers hasnīt seemed to find a meaning for this. No mention of ROJO or MARRON which is Red and Brown respectively. Maybe I will look online later.

Word Usage
------------
A quick update, which I will incorporate, but if you have read the NEVER BELIEVE section, the way BELIEVE or NOT BELIEVE is used seems to be the same or quite similar in Polish, Korean, Japan, Turkish, Hebrew, and English/Spanish/French/Portuguese.

Until next time
---------------

Keep watching the news...the missile shield debate seems interesting, as well as the recent missile launch by North Korea. Turkey plans to go into Iraq are also notable. Sri Lanka still getting worse. Iran isnīt stopping its Ļmarch of progress.Ļ

As I have told many travelers recently --Good Luck, youīll need it more than me. The less pride you got, the less you need luck though.

Happenings from Fortaleza, Brazil

Been on the road about 3 weeks now. Actually, I just want to return back home to Colombia. Saw lots of interesting things in Peru. So many past civilizations there...pretty much unknown to most. Peru aint just Machu Picchu and the Nazca Lines (Which I still need to visit).

http://www.caralperu.gob.pe/principal.htm

This site is interesting. I have only learned about Caral at the museum in Lima. Plenty of info on the website in Spanish, English, and German. I have to stop in Lima, Peru for a couple of days on the way back to Colombia so maybe I will get a chance to visit Caral for myself. Close to 3000 BC too....

Funny...more pyramids...lots more in Chiclayo and Trujillo area too. I have some good photos from a site I visited earlier - Tucume. I was literally and figuratively, the ONLY tourist there when I visited. Big site.

Me and the Pope
-----------------
So the Pope is visiting Brazil too right now. Interesting to see the news coverage of his visit here in this mostly Roman Catholic country. Iīve spread my story to a few Brazilians. I mostly use word patterns now, and do not even mention a big nuclear war. Letīs see how it flies. One funny thing about the Pope, is that he tours big stadiums sitting in a bulletproof window truck. Now...if he really were ordained by īGodīwouldnīt he be under Godīs protection? He should not need bulletproof glass...past assassination (Attempts) or not. The hypocrisy of it all...

But hey...when you are a TRUE BeLIEver, you are a sucker for anything!

Brazil
-----

Religion aside, I rode a bus for four-five hours (Would the pope do that? A public bus, non air conditioned) through the far Western part of Brazil bordering Peru and saw first hand the conversion of Amazon rain forest to cattle land. (Brasileia to Rio Branco) It brought home another aspect of global warming and boosted my first hand knowledge of industry and its effects.

I also visited Brasilia and the state of Goias (sp?). Combined with my tour of the Northeast and some more parts of the South, I am more comfortable with "checking off" Brazil on my country list. I wonīt visit every Brazilian state before 2012, but just like the US, if I can visit 80 percent of them or so...that will be good enough.

The only other thing worth mentioning now is that my laptop has malfunctioned while on this trip. This will delay me in getting moving on the website again when I return to Colombia. I have to find a new one, and try to salvage the data on my existing hard drive. It is a backup laptop -- without alot of data, but if I cannot get the existing data, I will lose my Florida (No Coral Castle!) and Colombia photos and some updates to the site that I have not uploaded yet.

...I aint hoping, just waiting.

Good luck to those who donīt have enough!
