Who am I?

Perhaps it is told easier through a few pictures and captions as I write too much anyway.

Admittedly, I found this page somewhat painful to create.
I'm not photogenic and seeing myself in a mirror everyday is quite enough.

Speaking of mirrors...
Have you ever seen your 'real' self in the mirror?
Check out the True Mirror (w)
It shows our self in a non-reversed manner. I own one.

There are many countries I don't have a photo of myself in. Perhaps 1/3 of them.
Partially as a result of frequent solo travel, and partially because I don't care. I'm too busy having fun and learning.

When I want to see the big picture, I change perspectives!

It's just a matter of pressure sometimes.

Looks can be deceiving. It looks fun, but riding an elephant isn't all its cracked up to be. I got quite dizzy as did my bench mate. Holding on is a tiresome too. Chiang Mai, Thailand

I enjoy discovering quaint hideaways like the Tiny Corner beer bar.

And good cheap eats like this cafe around the corner from my hotel.

It's the totem animal after all too. They are on all the manhole covers.

On the surface life can be complex,
but like the Qatar desert, it really is quite simple I believe.

Observing one of our tour driver's devotion to Islam/Mecca was inspiring.

Ok, ok, some people have called me a techie.

Nothing just happens - it has to be - planned
I've been known to plan a lot too.
