The real voyage of discovery is not in seeking new landscapes. But in having new eyes. - Marcel

The Circus of Life website started out as a personal travel website and blog in the year 2000. It has been an intensive learning experience for this traveler to get the website to where it is today and yet it
Adding to the possible confusion is an alternating writing perspective – from 3rd (they/he/she), to 2nd person (You) to 1st person (I) to a WE perspective. This has occurred because the next stage of our evolution is TO BE (nothing). This requires us to exist by instinct – “uncontaminated.” To break the illusion of our "self" and to “forget / not think” about our "sense of I" so much -- much less! As the website was written over a number of years during this cycle, this reflects the traveler's viewpoint. There are many weblinks and videos on this website – quite often from lone / seldom heard voices. They are minority reports. Being a minority often gives one a fresh perspective, a different perspective from the majority who have often overlooked certain details - due to fear, distraction, and other reasons. Thus, one may find things quite contrary to what is accepted as true. There IS NO ABSOLUTE TRUTH (Nor absolute good / bad. Evil has a specific "non-good/bad" definition though) per se on this website – despite what is stated on various videos / weblinks or what may have been erroneously written somewhere – there is only what one has experienced, learned, and accepted. For truth, good, bad, evil – is just a matter of perspective, which means, they doesn’t exist at all in an absolute sense, only as it relates to each individual. |

As for why the website was called the Circus of Life – that is still valid today, more than ever. Here it is: The Circus of Life is a description for all the events which take place on this earth. Sometimes entertaining, sometimes breathtaking, and sometimes heartbreaking. On a simple level, we, as the primary performers (Aside from the rest of nature's creatures), of these events, are all the same. We all seek to satisfy similar human needs and desires. It is the amount of emphasis on particular human values which results in the diversity we see today and throughout history. As we sharpen our eyesight -- we see many different people, in different places, with considerably different ideas about how to live, and "perform" for the rest of us. There is much to learn, but only if we go with an open and inquisitive mind.
