The Circus of Life is my name for all the events which take place on this earth.   Sometimes entertaining, sometimes breathtaking, and sometimes heartbreaking.  On a simple level, we, as the primary performers (Aside from the rest of  nature's creatures), of these events, are all the same.   We all seek to satisfy similar human needs and desires. It is the amount of emphasis on particular human values which results in the diversity we see today and throughout history.

As you sharpen your eyesight -- you see many different people, in different places, with considerably different ideas about how to live, and "perform" for the rest of us. There is much to learn, but only if we go with an open and inquisitive mind.

While technology has brought us knowledge of many of these events, people, and places, it has also fooled us into thinking we know more than we actually do. This is what I call - Living in 2-D. Life behind the words of a book, the images of a television, stories from a friend, and the pages of this website.  The sheer volume of knowledge, and speed with which it can be presented to us is mind boggling. I've chosen to take time out to see this spectacle for myself.  If we try to see everything going on under the big top at once, we won't really see anything at all.

This website is a record of my personal learning & spiritual quest, a celebration of the diversity of life, and also a place - where you and I can both begin to learn to see with new eyes.  Guided by the knowledge that life should be lived in 3-D.
