Knowing a little bit about the background for tension between Japan and China / Korea is useful for analyzing and putting into context some of the future events that may take place.  In this section you will find a selection of links about one of the under-reported atrocities of the 20th century.

Earlier, Wayne had posted statistics that he recorded from an Asian American newsletter (Father's subscription) article from Dec 2006 / Early 2007 that talked about the under-reporting of this incident using -- Google hits for Genocide. Wayne has been unable to duplicate those numbers or even approximate them - so he has removed them. The dangers of relying on other people's work!

Nevertheless - Wayne's anecdotal evidence and intuition would say the intent of the newsletter article is correct.
And say...why is there - all of a sudden - interest (All the films) in this subject again -- from 2006+?

Nanking the Film

"Nanking," produced by AOL vice chairman Ted Leonsis and co-directed by Bill Guttentag and Dan Sturman ("Twin Towers"),
focuses on the efforts of a small group of unarmed Westerners who established a safety zone where more than 200,000 Chinese found refuge.

we can't be certain that it won't happen again."

-- Wayne doesn't just understanD, he KNOWs. Do you KNOW? --
Cuz if you don't, you may just be part of the next one!
