This is a story about a pair of shoes.

I bought my first pair of Mion sandals in 2007 at a Nordstrom clearance rack for 50% off.  I liked them so much I bought a few more
in various styles in 2008 for even cheaper online. They looked different, but most importantly - they fit my wide feet.
If I could live without wearing shoes at all - I would!

A curious thing started to happen as I wore them - people started commenting on how cool my shoes were/are.
A lot of people.

Shortly after buying the shoes I discovered that a quote had been imprinted in the shoe itself. Below is a top view with the sole removed.

Getting to 99% or around there is often doable....keeping things perfect over a long period of time is difficult.
