When I first picked up on this weakness of the word believe, I never thought that I would it turn into an entire section on its own -- as you see now.
During my recent travels, I learned from people in different countries how similar the the way we use believe is.

Spanish speaking nations


increible means incredible or unbelievable in Spanish (Lots of synonyms in Spanish!).
Believers are called creyentes.  Opposite of increible is creible.
