What are the benefits of losing my pride?

• Increase in sense of humor -- May you never hear those words - "Loosen up!"
• Fear less - if at all -- If a car comes straight at you, you will get out of the way, that is not fear, that is instinct. Though some things we think of as instinct, are just conditioned responses.
• Less defensive when people criticize you or some idea you are attached to.
• The mind will open and curiosity will increase.  
• More smiles - There will be less to little in the world that you are angry about. You may disagree with others, but anger over it will fade.
• More "benefits" are explained in the MIND / NO MIND path as well as the WHO WE ARE section as well as below

What if we could "grow up" without going through the various pains of puberty? How would we look? How would we "act / behave?"

Wayne's note: I moved to Medellin, Colombia in 2007. One night, after several months of living in the city I took a walk to the
Zona Rosa - (Red Zone), an area filled with restaurants and clubs. 11pm. On the walk up from my apartment I heard some
voices making fun of me being Chinese. They were making karate sounds / noises. There are few Asian faces in Medellin - so they don't know better.
It was time to test out a new "power." I turned around and walked right into the middle of 3 boys / men - perhaps in their early to mid-20s.
I spoke in English to them, though  the language hardly mattered. I looked at the first guy - I asked him "Is there a problem here?" I looked him straight in the eye.
 He said nothing. I could sense the fear in him. I turned to the 2nd guy and asked him the same question. The same reaction - he was paralyzed with fear.
Then I said "Good, then shut your mouth."  The 3rd - I didn't bother. They got the message LOUD and CLEAR.
I walked off. I then heard another group make fun of me. But - I had proven the power.
A few "immature" punks - wasn't going to take up more of my time. I had to meet a friend anyways.

I had no weapons with me - they could have. The last time I took any form of Karate / Tae Kwon Do I was about 12 years old.
You don't need weapons - when you just BE.

Only those in FEAR use FORce. Only those in FEAR are FIERce.

BEing in the moment

When we "KNOW ourselves" -- amazing feats we are able to accomplish.
