Visit Nepal

In late 2005 a young boy in Nepal hit the world news for the remarkable feat he was performing. He had reputedly been going without food or water for over six months. In addition, he had been sitting in a lotus position during the entire time and had not risen to go to the bathroom. Eventually it attracted over 100,000 pilgrims. Many thought of him as some kind of god or reincarnation of Buddha.

There are many who will instantly dismiss this story at the mere mention of something that doesn't fit their religion, or lack of religious belief.  Pride closes the mind. A true skeptic / good (or at least open) minded individual would investigate further - especially since this does not fit the standard / garden variety  'paranormal' claims.

The Buddha Boy played a role in my event.
That is the main reason I zeroed in on the story as I sought to figure out what happened to me.

The Buddha Boy has not said much. I would caution you to not think too much of the religious practice of Buddhism.  That is detailed more in the Middle Way section.
