Tsunami Atlantico La Palma - simulacion

The CANary Islands

As a metaphor -  the Canary Islands off Africa are aptly named and sited.
"Canary on an Island"  ~ canary_in_a_coal_mine (Wiki) - early WARning ; 7 islands (SEVEN! - refer to Number DNA for significance)

There have been two eruptions on the island this century alone -- in 1949 and 1971.
Other eruptions in recent history on La Palma occurred in 1470, 1585, 1646, 1677 and 1712.  (SEVEN! -- since Spanish occupation)

1/3 Sea Calculation

The 1/3 reference is an important clue as to which "sea" may be referenced. This calculation verifies the Bible passage.

Ocean (Encyclopedia of Earth) - nice table
Ocean Basins
(Water Encyclopedia) - 5 basins - Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern (2000), Arctic

Atlantic Ocean
sq km

Entire Ocean
sq km

Atlantic / Entire

without marginal sea

82,440,000

361,100,000

22.8%

with marginal sea

106,460,000

361,100,000

29.3%

Major subdivisions of the oceans (Brittancia) - more detailed table
The Atlantic exhibits the largest change in surface area and volume when its marginal seas are subtracted.
This indicates that the Atlantic has the greatest area of bordering seas, many of which are shallow.
Marginal seas: the Baltic Sea, Black Sea, Caribbean Sea, Davis Strait, Denmark Strait, part of the Drake Passage,
Gulf of Mexico, Mediterranean Sea, North Sea, Norwegian Sea, and almost all of the Scotia Sea.

29.3% is approximately equivalent to 1/3 (33%) of all the seas.
1/3 of the world's oceans ~ 120,366,000 sq km

The calculation comes closest to 1/3 by using the Atlantic Ocean area measurement with marginal seas included.
None of the other oceans work with area measurements. None of the volume measurements work.
It would make sense to include the marginal seas as shown by the simulation video above.
The Pacific Ocean is too large, the Indian Ocean is too small.
