Lesser form of self-deception. But just as insidious (like hope). I even heard a newscaster on MSNBC boast that personal hypocrisy is ok, but government hypocrisy is alright. He will be a sorry ass soon enough.

I hear this word used alot. ______ soldiers were
ambushed yesterday in _____ country.
Of course - when the technically
stronger and superior country launches missiles and bombs
those
are not referred to as an ambush. What is the definition of an ambush?
1) A sudden attack made from a concealed position.
2)
A hidden peril or trap
Do you ever hear - they were ambushed by
a cruise missile.
They were ambushed by an artillery
shell (Tank, ship). They were ambushed by a flying unmanned
drone.
They were ambushed by soldiers using night vision
goggles. They were ambushed by a fighter plane in the air.

the recent fighting between
