Building Pride

It's very easy to become prideful. I've been that way for most
of my life. Don't feel bad about it. Just know you have some "self-surgery"
to do on your own mind. The intent of this section is to show you
how pride builds up inside of you. Maybe you can identify with multiple
sources. |
Only one sin

Billions of people (85%? 90%? 95%+?) on the planet will be wrong. The biggest lesson of all will be that
there is only 'ONE SIN' that matters. PRIDE!
For pride leads to all our darkest
negative emotions and therefore all "Evil."
Money is not the root of all evil.
Greed is not the root
of all evil.
Religion is not the root of all evil.
How you build pride
There are many ways that pride can grow inside each of us. Here are
a few examples of how it might occur:

Reaction to criticism from parents as a younger child. You boost your own pride to fend off an overly aggressive parent. Whether limited to shouting, or a more physical form such as hitting or sexual abuse. |

Composite of some of the other prides above. xxxxxxxxxx Good example: lawyers requesting outrageous sums for an accident or even a deliberate act. A particularly memorable one is the Mcdonald's Hot Coffee spill in a car. - This is another reminder why I will only discuss and not debate things on this website. Victims can find unlimited excuses and reasons. This is why lawyers make the big bucks. |
