The days of packaging and selling the riches of the earth -- are about to end.

There will be no more eCONomy. The world rebuilt quickly after World War 2. It will rebuild again.
Devastation / wake up call aside, it will be different. The old order will fade away.
If you are thinking of trying to profit of this - greed will destroy you, or worse - make you suffer terribly.

Won't a lot of innocent people die?

There are no innocent souls -- due to reincarNATION.

Alot of "innocent people (in current life)" are dying right now - probably at your indirect hands or those you know and admire. Ignorance and indifference of your CONsumer choices is not an excuse. We could play an eternal blame game. Enough eye-poking. We've "played with fire" too long. Less people will die if you spread this message of following the Middle Way correctly.

You won't do that unless you KNOW or have a high probability of suspicion that it will happen.  Pride will resist this message of the future. Pride wants you to be preoccupied with blaming others - me?
Pride wants you to hope it won't happen. HO-PE springs eternal.

Should I just escape to a tropical island?

Many islands are dependent on imports. You may not last long and/or suffer from starvation/cannibalism?
I already told you, there is only one thing you need to do.

Should I just move to a country without nuclear weapons?

Cities in non-nuclear nations WILL BE DEstroyed. Quite a few, that you probably would not expect to.
It does not matter whether you live in the Northern or Southern hemisphere.

As noted in the SIGNS section - fear will rise spontaneously.

Some non-island places may also be dependent on imports. We are so connected by globalization that things in one place affect another. It won't just be war chaos, but "economic" chaos. That leads to violence. Also natural disaster chaos too. Then there is nuclear wind. You must rely on your intuition/instinct and untainted logic.

Weather patterns are changing, drought may occur in certain places where it did not before. Rain may allow certain places to prosper. Or it may cause nasty floods. The export trade in meat is vast. This will be interrupted. Wildfires. Petroleum distribution will be severely reduced. That means you can't get around as easily and gas shortages will develop. You can already see signs of violence appearing at gas stations when prices rise beyond what is expected - even by a paltry amount. New technologies will emerge,  to supplant petroleum, but this won't happen overnight.
