No Idea

Oh yeah - I had no idea that this summer marks the 100th year anniversary of crossing the US by car. What timing! I haven't gotten any press about my journey - but that's ok. Nor have I sought any. The future press about the lessons learned which are flooding into my brain are much more important. It's hard to do two things at once - report about something in real-time and generate new ideas. Kind of like driving great distances nearly everyday and writing.

Hmm...but maybe I should contact the local newspaper in Seattle about my 36-segment 1 year round the world air ticket? I wonder what the record is? All the American Airlines agents commented that they had never seen such a long itinerary when I ticketed it a month or two ago. Once again, the label "crazy" comes to mind!
